5. Your experience with high end areas in GW/elite missions/dungeons and overall HM

Er, well my first experiences of elite areas were pretty much in 5 man FoW teams. I was pretty inexperienced, so I mostly bonded so I could watch and learn. Eventually I got pretty used to the mobs and patrols there, so I would say I know FoW the most out of the elite areas. I have completed all the elite areas with my Mesmer and Monk, I have achieved the Legendary Guardian Title on my Mesmer, and am halfway through Legendary Vanquisher.

6. Your current goals in GW

Max 30 titles (probably going to take forever), get my wolf emote (also will probably take forever), to meet some cool new people and to have fun while playing really.

7. Your past guild experiences and what guilds have you been in?

After floating round guilldless while I learned the ropes, I joined a variety of guilds (Light Pretorians [LP], One Ring To Rule Them All [EviL]) to discover new aspects of the game. I finally settled in Majestic Dragons [MaD] (who used to be TAM’s alliance leaders) and enjoyed the thriving activity of 30+ people online at a time. We were a true PvX guild, with weekly events and the such and I eventually became an officer. PvP pretty much caused MaD to split up, and I was given the role of co-leader in the reform, Banished Dragons [BaD]. It was during this time that I spent a lot of time working on titles.

After several months in this role I became somewhat bored of PvE and had a burning desire to branch out into PvP. However despite my best efforts in organising PvP events, I didn’t have the interest from the guild and realised that unfortunately I didn’t have the same goals and ambitions as anyone else there. So with a heavy heart I bid my farewells and passed on the leadership.

Luckily I was asked to guest for some of my old [MaD] friends new GvG guild, No Knowledge [nK], and I became their core dom Mesmer. We eventually peaked at rank 330, and placed 10^th in the GWGuru Cup Silver Division. However PvP guilds are pretty unstable, and after a few bad games [nK] split up. I decided to take a more gentle approach to PvP, as due to real life commitments I was unable to commit to spending 4/5 hours in AT’s. I joined No Goats No Glory [BAAA], and we pretty much messed about in GvG’s and the rage free environment was very enjoyable. Unfortunately inactivity has caused us to pretty much disband.

PvX. Variety is the spice of life as they say.

10. Any notable achievements you achieved or you're proud of?

Probably I’m most proud of my PvP achievements:
Winning Hall of Heroes with [BAAA] against established HA guild members (ugly and TV)
Coming 10^th/42 in the GWGuru Cup Silver Division with [nK] when we were pretty much the lowest ranked guild in our division.
Leading a guild of 50+ members

11. Describe yourself as player

I love playing Mesmer. Maybe it’s the fact that they are PvE’s underdog, and I love the challenges that you face when playing as one. I’ve been rejected from a lot of PuG groups purely because it’s seen as an unwanted profession, and that’s kinda driven me to achieve as much as possible with one. Hence I’ve pretty much H/H my way through hard mode so far. I tend to concentrate a lot while playing, as I like to play my best whether it be in a Vanquish, AB, Elite Area or GvG. I guess that means I can seem as a little unchatty, but it’s worth it for my monks if I can interrupt that HM Searing Flames.

12. Tell us more about yourself as person

I’m from the UK and I work in an office, but it’s really dull. I’m a massive Sunderland fan, and I get really grumpy when they lose (which is quite a lot). I love watching reruns of Father Ted and Black Books, and I have an unhealthy passion for 80’s Arnie films.

14. Why do you want to join and how can you contribute to guild?

I have recently been involved in mainly PvP guilds, but due to my life circumstances / guild activity I feel its best for me to return to a good old fashioned PvE guild. I am fairly active, and log on pretty much most evenings. I have experience setting up teams, and am looking for like minded people to get on with / get titles with / have a fun time playing GW with and you guys and girls sound like my kind of people.

Er I don’t have GW to hand but its roughly 3k hours and 24 months in total

You seems like a good guy , but most of your exp is PvP.
We do a bit PvP but we focus more on the PvE side.
Would you join the guild for our events such as fow,dungeons,vanquish.. and such ? do you have any exp with DoA/fow and the dungeons?

He has leg guard and halfway through leg vanquisher, so It's safe to say he has exp in PvE aswell

Titles are matter of dedication and not skill (don't get me wrong on here, this didn't mean he doesn't have any skill at all)

Anyway, application alone looks good, we're mainly pve guild with ocassional GvG for some fun, some ppl also play RA and some try to do some HA, but like said, mostly PvE

Erm, well it's a bit difficult to define 'having an idea about the game' as it can mean different things to different people.

If you mean this as knowing every pop up in UW / DoA or clearing FoW in under an hour then I guess i'm not what your guild is looking for.

If you mean knowing the skill bars of 90% of the monsters, which skills to use and when, what every skill in the game does and how best to deal with it, then i think i can be a valuable addition to your guild.

To answer your previous questions,

Yes, i love joining in guild events, after all thats what guilds are for!

And I have varying experience of the elite areas, I don't really enjoy DoA so I have less experience there, whereas I do enjoy FoW so I have more experience there. At any rate there are are relitivly few things I haven't done PvE wise (probably 1 or 2 dungeons in HM).

i don't want to go off topic too much, but titles gives us an idea of how well they know pve and ofc you don't need max titles to be good. WTB service...
