Request forum access!

Member of [TAM] here. I have registered on every forum in the alliance so i can post information reguarding updates of the alliances private wiki found here:

The wiki's latest update includes a new alliance centric main page with fully functional shoutbox, event calendar and build hosting solution.

If you wish to plan ahead an event with the alliance, share a build, write a guide or simply create a user/character profile for the alliance to see then this is the place to do it.

Probably best if i get a new thread going soon rather than hijacking this one btw.

I was working on an alliance based forums but it seems most guilds prefer to use their own. The wiki is a place to bridge the gap between guilds in ways a forum could not.
I'm pretty sure everyone is welcome to join any guilds forum they wish but there will be no set "alliance forums". Its easier to just let each guild use their own and if they wish to message an alliance member they can do so via that members userpage or the shoutbox.

The "Forum" link on the wiki is a remnant from my previous guild and will be removed.

Why cant everyguild cant keep it forum active and create a new one to the alliance?
I used to be an alliance leader, each guild had it own forum and we had an alliance forum , it was a great way to keep the important news with everyone and we could set more events that way, I just think that an alliance forum (separate from any guild forum) would be a great idea , but its not my call after all:)

The alliance forum i set-up i was promoting for about a month with zero interest. I believe the wiki can offer things to the alliance that a single alliance forum cannot.
People can post personal/character profiles for the rest fo the alliance to see. They can bost builds, articles and guides to share information with the alliance. They can host events that any member of the alliance can take part in and can even chat or ask questios of each other outside game with the user of both talk pages and the shoutbox.

I am looking forward to seing other peoples userpages. For those who are new to wiki's and dont know exactly what a userpage is i will post mine as an example alongside my mesmers character page.

They are still being worked on though. I will finnish them off once i have managed to get more people actually visiting the wiki.
